We scooped Gold, Silver, and Bronze at the Sussex Digital Awards 2017!
Last Thursday we attended the 1st annual Sussex Digital Awards 2017 – a ceremony designed to honour the achievements of digital organisations across the county.
The awards were held at Pelham House in Lewes. With a number of talented submissions, there was a lot of excitement for the results.
We were lucky enough to have 3 different websites nominated for awards:
- Responsive website: Condé Nast Johansens and IamTeamGB
- Website (in association with Sussex Chamber of Commerce): Internet Matters
- Website: School, Education and Charity: Internet Matters
- Website: Tourism and Hospitality: Condé Nast Johansens.
There was definitely cause for celebration when the results were announced. We scooped up a Gold, Silver and Bronze award in 3 different categories:
- Gold- Website: Tourism and Hospitality, for Condé Nast Johansens
- Silver- Website (in association with Sussex Chamber of Commerce), for Internet Matters
- Bronze- Website: School, education or charity, for Internet Matters
Here’s what some of the team had to say about the Sussex Digital Awards:
Summer Parmenter- Andrews
“It was an honour to attend the Sussex Digital Awards at Pelham House last Thursday. The atmosphere was amazing and some very talented and worthy winners were announced for the various categories. I was very proud of the team for winning gold on the Condé Nast Johansens website in the ‘Tourism and Hospitality’ category, as well as gaining awards in ‘School, Education and Charity’ and ‘Website: in association with Brighton Chamber of Commerce’, of which we received both silver and bronze! A very successful evening for the team of whom I am very proud to be working with.”
Carmine Colicino
“It was my first Digital Award ceremony ever, so I didn’t actually know what to expect from it, but it was a great way to start! It was very exciting to hear the Pragmatic name among the winners, and not only once! I had the opportunity to work on both of the winning projects (Condé Nast Johansens and Internet Matters) so winning an award makes you feel really proud of your work, especially when the recognition comes from your peers and your colleagues. I really hope that there are going to be more nights like this in the future and more awards to come!”
Richard Copping
“It’s always gratifying to get recognition for your work so we were stoked to receive a full sweep of awards at this year’s Sussex Digital Awards.
The organisers planned and executed a wonderful evening which our team really enjoyed attending. I’m really pleased that the Sussex Digital Awards exists to showcase all the digital talent that’s abundant in our region, and I hope they continue to grow each year.”
We would like to extend a massive congratulations to all of the Sussex Digital Awards winners! There was clearly a lot of talent on offer, and it’s great to see an event which celebrates Sussex’s fantastic digital industry.
