We’re really looking forward to WordCamp London 2016 on 8th-10th April 2016! The 2-day-long conference will be held at London Metropolitan University over the weekend and will include a contributor day on the Friday. The conference is for WordPress developers, designers, business owners and bloggers – basically anyone who wants to get more out of the CMS. We’re sponsoring this event, and this year our Founder & Director, David Lockie will be part of a panel talk focused on recruiting for your WordPress business.
Our team are really looking forward to travelling up to London for the conference, and we will be attending both days at the weekend as well as the afterparty. Tickets are still available, and you can get yours here.
This year the organisers have really focused on being accessible ensuring parents can easily attend as they’ll be providing a creche which we think is incredibly thoughtful.
We’re sponsoring WordCamp London 2016!
We decided to sponsor WordCamp London again this year to show our support for the conference. We really enjoy the community spirit that comes with WordPress, and the WordCamps are a huge part of this. WordCamp London is the biggest annual WordPress meetup in the UK, so it is really important that we’re a part of that.
David Lockie is speaking as part of a panel talk
Angry Creative Founder & Director David Lockie is taking part in the panel “Recruiting for your business” at 5:10pm on Saturday 9th April in the Henry Thomas Room Business Track (Track B). David has experience building Angry Creative from a single freelancer to a 20+ strong full-service team with very minimum staff turnover. At the panel talk, you’ll get the opportunity to learn more about hiring for your business and the chance to shoot him your questions related to recruiting for a WordPress specialist business.
This year we’re also taking part in organising WordCamp Brighton 2016 on 23rd-24th July. This will be the first WordCamp in our city. We’ll share more info about this as soon as we can!
