We’re looking forward to hosting and sponsoring the popular Codebar Brighton workshop next week on Tuesday 26th April!
Codebar Brighton is a local volunteer-run organisation that aims to make technology and coding more accessible to minority groups in the technology sector. Their workshops are run weekly and are completely free to attendees.
The workshops are organised by talented volunteer coaches who dedicate their spare time to helping others learn about code. Some of our team will be on hand on the night to help coach and advise on coding with WordPress.
Codebar attendees can expect to learn code in the comfort of the Angry Creative offices, meet a few of our friendly team, and will be treated to some of the best pizza Brighton has to offer (yum!).
Here’s what our regular Codebar attendee, Romy has to say:
As a regular attendee of Codebar over the last year, I have found the support invaluable. Having initially taught myself the basics on my own, the interaction with the coaches at Codebar really helped me overcome issues I had previously faced alone. These are all developers that give up their spare time on a weekly basis to support and help others to learn. I love the sense of community at the workshops and remain a regular attendee. I’ve even tried out some coaching recently too!
