Join us in helping 30 small, local businesses get online this summer!

Something exciting could be coming this way. Rebrand Cities, a non-profit organisation supported by WordPress.com, plan on venturing across the pond to Brighton this summer. Their mission is to get 10,000 small businesses online. Yep, you read that right, 10,000! But, this project needs your help!

We’re partnering up with them to create a 5 day course that will help get small, local businesses online. This workshop will take place on the 3rd of June and up to 30 businesses will have the opportunity to create their website through WordPress. This will be done with the help of our team of designers and developers and also the local WordPress community.

To date, Rebrand Cities have helped launch the websites of over 300 businesses, in 18 diverse industries! Impressive right?! Their aim is for local communities to share their stories, show their strengths and prove that ‘Anything Is Possible’. And, with a high rate of success stories in the U.S, an opportunity like this can help change communities over here in the UK.

If you’re still not sold, check this out.

During this 5 day workshop, local businesses will be provided with website development, a domain name, a responsive website design, hosting for one year, a five page website and customer support provided by WordPress.com.

But wait, there’s more.

There will also be the opportunity to participate in a professional photography shoot and a small business branding workshop. I mean, c’mon.

However,

This event will only be made possible with the support of other businesses to help sponsor this 5 day workshop. We expect this will have a huge impact on local businesses by creating new jobs and revenue along the way. I’m sure we can all agree that it would be a shame to miss out on that.

So, if your business is looking to get involved through sponsoring or would like to participate in the workshop and get help building your website, please contact us or visit Rebrand Cities website.
