Two well-known WordPress professionals, Stanislav Khromov and Erik Bernskiöld, have started the podcast Wpodd with the ambition to broaden the Swedish WordPress community outside the usual development circles.
-“Wpodd is an opportunity to reach out to more than the WordPress community that gathers at Meetups. We want to reach not only developers but also people who primarily use WordPress, says Erik Bernskiöld.
We meet Erik and Stanislav at the WordPress Meetup in Norrköping on August 11, organized by Angry Creative. The first episode of Wpodd is about WordPress 4.6, paid reviews on Wordpress.org and Page Builders. Wpodd will be released monthly and will focus on news in the WordPress world as well as feature an interview with some interesting person within the WP community.
-We want to build a bridge between developers and users. Users and developers can help each other,” says Stanislav Khromov, a developer at Aftonbladet.
“Wpodd will contain a mix of user issues, business and technology.
– We will not talk code, says Erik Bernskiöld, who himself has a focus on the business side of WordPress.
Erik does not want to reveal which scheduled guests are ready, but the invitees have been very positive about participating.
