WordCamp lifts the WordPress industry

Everyone who matters in the Swedish WordPress community is coming to WordCamp Stockholm on November 22-23. Don’t miss the opportunity to share knowledge and get inspired – few tickets are left at the time of writing.

WordCamp Stockholm will be held on November 22 at Waterfront in Stockholm simultaneously with Internetdagarna. The day after, it will be Contribution Day at Bonnier Tidskrifter in Stockholm. There are still tickets available, but they are selling out fast.

Angry Creative is active both as an organizer and contributes money as a sponsor because we believe that WordCamp is vital for developing the Swedish WordPress community and sharing knowledge about WordPress.

-It is important that we as a community meet and that everyone in the industry gets better at what they do, says Jimmy Rosén, founder and product owner at Angry Creative.

Jimmy Rosén will also speak at WordCamp together with Toni Cheftain on the theme “From cowboy coding to continious delivery” during the business track at WordCamp.

-“It’s about how we manage to use failures to grow and develop,” says Jimmy Rosén.
The lectures at this year’s WordCamp are largely about solving technical and business problems in WordPress implementations. Some lectures that stand out are:

  • Niklas Högefjord from Krokedi talking about support on WordPress products
  • Ulrichs Pogson talks about building multi-language e-stores
  • Ant Miller and Daniel Westall talk about customizing WordPress for large media companies
  • Caroline Thunved talks about the Scouts WordPress site

And if you really want to learn from the best as they work in practice, Contribution Day on November 23 is a great opportunity. Then, of course, the party on the evening of November 22 is a great opportunity to get to know the community.
