Qala 3.2.10 released!

Summer is approaching and we haven’t been idle. We’ve been improving Qala with a bunch of new goodies. We last updated this blog for version 3.2.4, so we have a lot of updates to share.

3.2.5

All plans:

Qala Subscriptions
  • Support for subscription products.
This feature now allows you to add subscription products quickly and easily. Supports many different types of subscription products.

Qala Premium:

Elastic Filter Flat view
  • Support in Elastic filters to show all variations directly in the product listing.
By default, only the main product is shown, and this makes the user experience when searching and filtering sometimes a bit strange. This way you can quickly find what you are looking for directly.

And of course, bug fixes.

3.2.6

All plans:

Qala share cart in minicart
  • Share Cart in Minicart
Minicart now supports sharing the cart. This is great in many ways. Customer service can make a cart and send to customers, and it is possible to create articles with links to carts.
  • Accessibility improvements

And of course, bug fixes.

3.2.7 & 3.2.8

All plans:

Qala FSE footer
  • Full site editing above the footer
Qala now uses one of the latest features in WordPress, full site editing. This means that some sections that were previously only editable in code can now be edited using blocks.
Qala hero block update 3.2.8
  • More settings for Hero blocks
The Hero block can now also be used for full-screen images and in a layout with a box on a background image. This expands the range of uses of the block at the same time and its great performance can therefore permeate more parts of one’s landing pages. It is also possible to make the image a link when using a split design.
Buttons in menu
  • Possibility to use buttons in the menu
In the past, buttons in the menu had to be done as a development effort. Now these can be made at any time by an administrator. Great! Selectable are the various button designs normally done with the Buttons block.
  • Update WordPress to 6.1.x
In this release we update to a later version of WordPress while using many of the new features introduced in this version.

And of course, bug fixes.

3.2.9 & 3.2.10

All plans:

Qala composite products support
  • Support for Composite Products.
This functionality allows selling a collection of products in a user-friendly way, for example step by step.
Price hisory graph
  • Qala Product Price History
In the Omnibus Directive, companies selling in the EU now need to show that they are not making false sales. Therefore, as an e-retailer, you need to show the lowest price for the last 30 days. This add-on is now the official add-on for this feature for WooCommerce, and part of Qala.

And of course – a lot of bug fixes.

We hope everyone has a great summer! In Q3 & Q4 we have some exciting updates coming up. Subscribe to our newsletter to know what’s coming as soon as it’s released 🙂
