Qala version 3.1 is here and offers several interesting updates.
Qala produced platform for WooCommerce. Qala has the most common features we’ve seen you need in an ecommerce platform, all neatly packaged with a modern and responsive design.
What’s new in 3.1?
The big news in this version are the new available add-ons. How about easier handling of EU VAT, efficient image compression, better management of stock via a single stock balance across multiple pages, increased conversion by helping the visitor to the right local market? Sound good? Here’s a quick rundown.

Updates for Gutenberg
We continue on the path to perfection for Gutenberg and with that we have created some new block patterns for our Qala theme(What are block patterns?).
Block patterns:
- Cover with content
- Product list with CTA
- Spotlight
- Square grid
- Text and media
Improvements in Qala
- The coupon form at checkout is now at the top of the page, making it more visible/easily accessible to customers.
- The primary category of a product is now highlighted above the product title on individual product pages, with the possibility for site administrators to choose the colour of the label.
- It is now possible to add product reviews as part of the modular content builder on individual product pages, providing more flexibility for how Qala users want their product pages to look.
- We have completely updated the implementation to add meta verification tags. There is now more flexibility with presets for common services like Google Search and Facebook. In addition to presets, it is possible to add more meta verification tags in the new admin interface.
- Qala now supports stylisation of all WooCommerce built-in shortcodes and blocks.
- Support for the following extensions has been added to Qala (The extensions are not included by default, we have only added support for them):
- WooCommerce Subscriptions
- Composite products
- Product bundles
- Product add-ons
- Gift cards
