Fredrik Schlyter is a photographer in Norrköping, Sweden, known for his stunning wilderness photography. His images are often used by well-known car brands to promote their products. In addition to his photography, Fredrik is a well-versed mountaineer who has written books about climbing.
We helped Fredrik with a new website for himself and his climbing. We used a WordPress Multisite where his photography business became the main page and his climbing page became a subpage. This way Fredrik can control each site separately from one administration with a few clicks.
Fredrik had a few problems with his previous website. It was entirely made in Flash and therefore did not work very well on mobile devices. This was a problem as many people liked to look at his website with mobiles. We therefore chose to make the site responsive.
In addition, it was important that each image could be easily shared and thus “liked” on Facebook, for example. We made this possible by carefully planning the information architecture to enable search engine optimisation as far as possible.
