Very recently, we hired Robin Björklund who has previously interned with us. Here is a short interview:
Tell us about yourself. Who are you?
My name is Robin Björklund and I’m a 21-year-old web ninja living in a small 16m² student room. I moved from Stockholm to Norrköping to study for a Master of Science in Media Technology. However, I quickly realised that I didn’t want to continue studying quite yet, which resulted in me only doing the courses I found fun. One of these courses was Electronic Publishing, which is an introductory course in web development. I had only scratched the surface of HTML and CSS before, but with this course I got to try out HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP and MySQL. This was the birth of a new passion. However, doing only the fun courses at school doesn’t really work, so I took a study break with the aim of working for a while while developing my skills. I applied for an internship at Angry Creative and now a couple of months later I can proudly call myself a web developer and I am incredibly happy to be working on something I enjoy!
What are your hobbies?
Apart from nerding out about the web, I really enjoy my little corridor family at the Gripen student residence where we make up all sorts of silly things.
What do you like to build on the web?
I love keeping up to date and trying out new web tools to make fun little (usually quite unnecessary) web applications and such!
What will you be able to bring to our clients?
I would probably mainly call myself a front-end nerd. So I probably add a rich user experience for the end user. But I’m clearly an all-rounder who wants to learn as much as possible about as much as possible.
